UCiC Summer Programs
We offer 2 summer experiences to fit your child’s needs:
Summer Camp, a fun, engaging, activity-filled summer full of exploration and time to build friendships,
and Summer Academy, a structured academic program designed to strengthen skills and prepare students for the upcoming school year
Summer Camp
UCiC Summer Camp is a hands-on, adventure-filled program for students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each week centers on engaging themes where students create, build, explore, and play through purposeful arts, crafts, games, and collaborative activities.

We take full advantage of the Pacific Northwest summer with abundant outdoor time, and campers participate in field trips at least twice a week — from local parks to destinations like the Museum of Flight and more — turning real-world experiences into meaningful moments.
Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Extended care is included, allowing drop-off as early as 7:00 AM and pick-up as late as 6:00 PM.

Summer Academy
Get your student confident and ready for the next school year!
Our Summer Academy strengthens core skills while giving students a head start on upcoming grade-level learning.
Throughout the program, students will reinforce key concepts from the past year and preview new material they will encounter in the fall — reducing back-to-school anxiety and building academic momentum.
This engaging 4-week experience focuses on four essential subjects: math, reading, writing, and science, delivered through structured lessons, guided practice, and hands-on activities that keep learning both purposeful and enjoyable.
Optional extended care is available from 8:30–9:30AM and 3:00–6:00 PM for families who need a longer day.
Drop-off is at 9:30 AM and pick-up is at 3:00 PM.

Best parts about UCiC Summer Camp
Kids love the far-reaching fun
01
Kids get out (really out there)
You won't find another camp that takes kids out to as many places as we do. All those museums, science centers, parks, and berry farms that you've been trying to find time to take them... we will do it for you. And they might even want an encore with you.
03
Explore in cohorts
We group kids with those of a similar age so they can more easily build comradery.
What happens at UCiC camp does not stay at UCiC camp. We snap tons of pics and share with parents via ClassDojo daily.
02
Parents enjoy the flexibility
We get it. Working parents and those that need "me-time" need flexible summer options for kids. Our camp allows you to register for the weeks that fit your summer plan. And, our extended care is included so a range of hours for drop of and pick up.
04
The best vacation bible school
The Community Church of Seattle puts on a huge VBS production every year called Toon Town at the UCiC School campus. All camp participants attend the games, shows, and youth group sermons at Toon Town and then resume camp activities late afternoon. See video recapping 2024 >
